Subaru Justy also has CVT. I think Honda claims it's all in the "belt". It's hard to imagine that it can be implemented correctly on a vehicle with lots of hp.

: I am rather intrigued by the concept of CVT's. I've never driving a car that has one, and wonder what people think about them. Has anyone out there driven a car with a CVT, like the Honda Civic HX? If so, could you please post your thoughts on its performance?

: : I currently have a Z3 2.3 and am looking seriously at a 323 sedan with steptronic as a 2nd vehicle. Saw this on the Audi website ... claims to produce better acceleration than a 5-speed and better fuel economy as well.
