: Still have back seat. M5 has four doors. LOTS of compromises to practicality. True sports car must be designed from the ground up for performance, not a performance mod of existing design.
: : : i've read many posts that some stupid ass actually think their e 46 is a true sports car and tried to "smoke" some high performace sports cars. you are making a fx'ng fool out of yourselves. stop the jokes.

: : My definition of a true sports car is a car that makes no comprimises in the pursuit of driving fun. M3 sedan and M5 fit this, all the cars in the post above do. But, the 328 and 323 do make comprimises for practicallity and day to day function, which is fine that's the reason why most buy the car. The 323/328 are as close as any day to day practical car has ever gotten to a true sports car.
: : By the way, my example of the pure true sports car: M coupe and Mazda RX-7 R1.
