I havent seen anything mentioned on the boards about this, but we did some testing with this on the 328i's a while back & thought this might be worth posting should anyone be interested. It really is a pretty trick system. The monitor display is just a little bigger than a radar detector & is really great as far as giving you good feedback on pressure settings- real simple install, and a real easy to use display.
It is very sensitive, giving you a reading at each of the 4 wheels, which is a real good setup should you get into autocrossing also.

The system can be at your fingertips to confirm your vehicle's current tire pressure and warn you of air pressure loss. By keeping tires inflated properly, you can maximize performance, fuel economy and tire life all at the same time. And this system can even help protect low profile tires mounted on large diameter wheels by identifying a drop in air pressure long before it becomes apparent visually.
A wireless air pressure/temperature sensor is securely banded to each wheel before the tire is installed, and the system's receiver/display panel is placed within reach and sight of the driver.
Within the first minute of driving, the system's sensors will broadcast a signal to the in-car receiver that allows the driver to conveniently check the cold air pressure of each of the vehicle's tires from the
comfort of the driver's seat. Then while the vehicle is in motion, each tires' status will be updated every 30 seconds.
The sensors are equipped with motion detectors which turn them off to prolong their lithium batteries' life (estimated at 7 years/90,000 miles) when the vehicle is parked. The receiver/display comes with a 12-volt adapter plugged into the cigarette lighter or can be hardwired directly to a "keyed" power circuit.
