I'm not sure about the emissions part but I do know even if you save some money on tax in Nevada most likely you will lose all you gained when you register your car in california. They will tax you accordingly. Unless you register as a used car but you need to have over 8000 miles (i'm not completely sure on the milage it maybe 5 or 3000).

At least this was according to my friend who is in the force and moved from Nevada.

: I live in California. Is there any reason to buy a 323Ci in Nevada? Is there any difference because of the crazy California emissions requirements? Thanks.
