: Morning to question is in reference to the tire pressure chart pasted inside the drivers side door jam.!! I have had my new 323Ci for a few weeks now and decided to check the air pressure since the mornings are starting to get cold here and I (IF im reading the chart right) noticed that the settings should be 36F and 44R. Am I reading that correctly, it seems to be kind of high to me but I want to go by the BMW recommendations. Should I do that?

: Also does that change according to the type of tires you have.? I have the premium package 16" Michelins and as far as ride I like comfortable and quiet.

: Sorry if this seems like some stupid questions but this is my first BMW and I know that you smart guys out there say that with BMW's air pressure does make a big difference.

: Thanks, Colin.

I apologize in advance if I'm wrong but make sure you are looking at the recomended and not the maximum chart. On my 323i there are two columns (max and recomended) and I have looked at the wrong one more than once while reading at a 90 degree angle.
