Calm down Mr. Ausgang.....I think the subject line itself followed by the :) symbol showed that indeed I was joking.

Furthermore I challenge you to present any post where I flamed anyone about the area or region where they live. I do not flame folks on this board or any board. As a matter of fact you will notice that Im a new guy on here usually asking new guy questions.!! Perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else.?

And finally one last point.I joined the Navy from New York when I was 17 so Im very familiar with the east coast.

: : Somebody has any cheaper ideas??

: Just because Rem is in NYC doesn't mean the 'subway' is the answer to all of his travel needs. Many of us in the area do have relatives or business reasons which require travel outside the reach of the MTA. (Maybe he's got relatives in Nebraska who are football fans, and even the R-Train doesn't go that far.)

: Either way, I haven't noticed this line of regional sarcism in your previous posts, so perhaps you'll accompany your future wit with some advice as well.

: BTW, Rem, here's a few things you could try: Sometimes a 'beater' car used for primary transport and a 'limited use' plan for your Bimmer can save you $$, and gets one the multi-car discount. Do you have the factory alarm? With some companies, it pays for itself in one year's discount. Have you tried Geico or Liberty Mutual? Have you considered raising your deductible up to $1,000 to see how much that helps? If all else fails, you can get married or get older than 34 --- both of which strangely help.

: Good luck,
