ICD Ltd.
46-48 Thornhill Road
Streetly
Sutton Coldfield
West Midlands
B74 3EH
UK

The part no. for the E46/39 Sony MD changer interface is BMWE46/39-M, and you should specify if you have the in-dash CD head unit, as only the new s/w revision developed during the loan of my CD head unit will work with it.

It has the Sony RCA pair and UniLink connector on one side of the box, and the pair of BMW connectors on the other (audio & power/control). You connect the existing BMW CD changer cable to these connectors. Since I mounted my MD changer in the glovebox, I ran a new BMW changer cable there, leaving the trunk one in place.

Contact at ICD is Paul McNeil - it should cost around 60 UKP. You can order with a CC over the phone in the UK.

Any more questions feel free to email.

: Hi James!

: I read your post on ICD coming out with the Sony MD/AI-Bus adapter.

: I talked w/ Soundgate and got nowhere.

: Do you have the ph # and address of ICD in UK? I have a friend in London who I call upon to get it for me.

: Cheers,
: Fred
