Something to think about with used M3s (archive)

I tend to think that people (mostly guys) who drive M3s tend to push them harder than drivers of regular 3 series cars. Add to this the fact that most of the M3s on the market are off lease cars, which the owners had little incentive to maintain properly, and the chances of getting an abused car are very high.

With a new E46, you'd be the first driver.

: I am still debating....used m3 vs. new 323ci. m3 would be around $28k and 323ci would be around 32k. Comments? Arguments? Does the 323ci have enough power??
