: The elongated rectangle molder is for european front license plate. You can get a different molding with no license plate holder/bracket (more aesthetically pleasing). Check the E46 FAQ under the Accesories section for part number. BUT you might get a ticket for it if the cop pulls you over for a moving violation.

: : How my car comes with a nasty front molding rectangle(where the license plate goes) where as others have a more enlongated rectangle (more wider than higher) and yet others have none at all. What have peopole down to their car to make the front more aesthetically pleasing?
