In Reply to: Miami Area: Where to get tint from? .......... posted by Kareem on October 19, 1999 at 23:45:47:

I have been tinting my cars at Senor Stereo. They do a good job. The only thing is that they are not too careful with the soapy stuff. They leave some of it on the leather/vinyl. I usually just clean the car just after I get tints done. I have been using the Quantum 18 on my cars -

Blue-Grey/Tan '85 325 (Silent e)
Silver/Blue '84 635CSi (totalled)
Sister's Red/Black '87 325is
Grandma's Green/Tan Saturn '98 SL2

It looks/looked good on all of my cars. Just perfect shade for most colors. I will take some pics if I get a chance at least the still existant cars...

It looks really pale on the sample glass, but once it is on the car it is quite dark. about 32% in reality. Don't use the sputtered series or the metallic ones since they seem to interfere with the radio antenna.

: What percentage did you get? I think that 35% all the way around is the best for silver 328 with black leather. thanks.
