Congratulations!
I'm stationed at RAF Mildenhall and picked up my 2000 323Ci in August. Overall, the experience at the delivery center in Munich was excellent. I showed up and checked in at the front desk (after drooling over a 7 series!). They have a coffee/snack bar in the building (excellent coffee) where we waited for about 20 minutes. I was taken downstairs to the garage where my baby was waiting for me. I signed my name about three times and that was it! A nice German man in a tie handed me the keys and showed me a couple of basic features so I could at least drive the car home. I asked a couple of questions which he answered politely but I got the impression that he had other customers to deal with and couldn't spend a lot of time with me personally. My advice would be to talk to your military sales person and pick his/her brain, or use this board for info (although you have to weed through a lot of ahem crap sometimes. Also, get to know a local dealer; you'll probably want to get your keys programmed or something else that your military sales person won't be able to do. Any questions just e-mail me.
