: I 'm supposed to get my 323ci on Friday. It was supposedly going to happen monday, but here I am.
: I saw my baby monday or tuesday, she was parked up against a FENCE in the storage lot. I couldn't believe it. There was another car that pushed the fence out so far that I couldn't even move it.
: I placed some paper towels between the fence and the bumper, it was all that I had. Hopefully the thick delivery wax (or whatever its called will) protect it from scratches. When I returned the next day, the car was gone, I guess it was getting prepped for delivery.
: 1) What problems if any have any of you had on delivery day?
: 2) Anything I should look out for (other than scratches)
:
: I also found it strange that the delivery center uses an outdoor, uncovered automatic machine car wash. The washed cars always looked good from a distance. However, its still seems strange.
: 2000 323ci
: titanium silver/black leatherette
: sport & prem pkgs
: pwr lumber support

There have been several items posted with good checklists for delivery. You might search the archives for these - One item that seems to get overlooked based on these posts is the spare tire. Take it out CAREFULLY and make sure it isn't scratched. The center screw that holds it down will do one helluva job on the paint. Congrat's are in order.
