do you have auto or stick? I have 00 328i auto and I have noticed this too with ac on, not only at start, but when making move to pass at medium speeds, and also when trying to accelerate when going uphill. Personally, I don't think it is a "problem" just the nature of the car, i.e. available torque and horsepower. But I am interested in others' take on this.
