Do you feel confident it will not harm the paint, and can be safely removed later? Is it a pain when you wax the car, or does it really act just like the paint. I'll assume you need to specifically clean the leading edge after waxing to keep invisible. Did you self or dealer install. Was if difficult if you did it your self (I once tried to put on window tinting film myself which turned out to be a disaster.)

Thanks!!!

Thanks!

: Like you said, the E46 is a stone magnet. I put a 3M clear film on the hood and fender and it works very well. It looks better than the ordinary bra - practically invisible. Click on the "(see all bimmer.org E46 banner ads)" above and click on one of the ad. They throw in some stuffs if you go there from here.

: BTW, putting it on is difficult.

: : Is it just me or is the E46 a magnet for stone chips? I've only got 7k miles on it but there are numerous chips in the hood and fenders as well as a number of them in the windshield. Don't want a bra, any ideas?
