Maybe they changed the design? I got the OEM rubber mats from the dealer with purchase of my car back in February. My velour mats don't pin in either. They use a velcro like attaching system. There is a pin-hole in the middle of the 'velcro' but the pins that came with the rubber mats don't fit in the pin-hole. When I purchased the rubber mats, I'm pretty sure that the accessories catalog stated you would be unable to use the fastening system with the E46. Do you have a '00 model? I wonder if my car can be retrofitted?
