They're intermittent wipers - pretty much every new car today has them. The speed of the wipers vary depending on the speed of the car, I don't think it's necessarily just the RPM's. I'm pretty sure all BMW's come standard with intermittent wipers, only the 328 has the rain-sensing option.


: Know where I can get more info on these? doesn't have much info. My question is if I do not get the premium package with the rain atcivated wipers, will my wiper speed still be controlable by the rpms? I was told by one of the local dealers that the wiper speed increase with the speed of the car, like a previous car I had.
