: Can anyone recommend tires in 235/40R18 that ride smooth?

: I'm getting rims for my 2000 328Ci, probably Hartge Classics and I need to get new tires obviously. I commute more than anything else and I don't want tires that ride HARSH!

: I've had (on another car) Dunlop SP-Sport 8000s and 9000s, and then later the Dunlop W-10s. The W-10s turned out to ride much nicer than the 8000 or 9000s (and a lot cheaper too!).

: Someone has recommeded Pirelli P7000 Super Sports to me. The TireRack reviewed them as driving smoothly (as they did for the W-10s), any opinions? Should I go with the W-10s or the P7000s? Any other smooth, non-harsh tire I should consider?

: Thanks!

Have a new 323Ci. Just put Breyton Inspiration 18" wheels on with the new Toyo T1-S. I love the Toyo's because of the stiffer sidewall which causes the car to corner superbly. Great ride and they (the last model T1 Plus) wore well. Have also had the Dunlop SP 9000 and the Pirelli P7000 on my CLK and 5 series. The Pirelli's provide excellent traction for cornering but do make noise a little bit as they wear. I still like the Toyo's the best.
