got for a supersprint. it's probably the best available exhaust for a bmw. aa is up there with them though, but ss makes exhuasts for specific applications, whereas the aa makes a 328/m3 e36 exhaust. but anyways, go for a supersprint designed for thr e46 328. they have a version that has dual 3" straight tips. looks really nice with the thick rolled tips. sound is also very nice. low, deep rumble. also, no exhaust will provide any considerable hp/torque gains. all it will do is provide a bit better throttle response and a few hp's up in the high rev range. unless you get some type of forced induction, an aftermarket exhaust will only make your car look better and sound better. =)
