: Just got a follow up call from the dealership about my purchasing experience with my salesperson at Patrick BMW.
: I rated the person as "good" but not excellent because I felt I was definitely treated much nicer with my previous purchases at the Lexus dealerships.
: An hour later, I got a call from my salesperson asking me why she was not rated higher... (now I thought it was bad for her to even call and put me on a spot!) and I explained all the things that bothered me. Then she then told me that BMWNA will call soon, and I should rate the dealership "Excellent".
If it were me, I would now have a nice story to tell the BMWNA caller. I would express your initial opinion ("good") and the followup call you received, including all the names. I might also express your concern about retribuion due to the salespersons heavy handed tactics. In this way you (1) express your true feelings about the dealership and (2) cover yourself with BMWNA (and the dealership as they will probably get informed of what was said) regarding any possible failings in your future service with the dealership.
Just an idea...
