Thanks for the suggestions. I might just go with that approach. I was ready to write the dealership a complaint letter but was worried about pissing them off considering this is the closest BMW dealer to me and I hate to have to drive to another dealer for service.

: If it were me, I would now have a nice story to tell the BMWNA caller. I would express your initial opinion ("good") and the followup call you received, including all the names. I might also express your concern about retribuion due to the salespersons heavy handed tactics. In this way you (1) express your true feelings about the dealership and (2) cover yourself with BMWNA (and the dealership as they will probably get informed of what was said) regarding any possible failings in your future service with the dealership.
