: For those of you having problems with range on the universal remote, try changing the position of the antenna on the garage door unit. This is usually a length of insulated wire somewhere on the unit...check your owmer manual to locate. Sometimes they get curled up or in a position that does not receive the signal as well. Try to straighten as much as possible, and experiment with different positions. This helped me alot.
