Hi Rohith,

why do you say that a "practical Net connection" is an oxymoron? I notice you're logging in from a dorm at UCSD -- is it really that much of a pain?

Or did you mean network connections in cars?

I'm interested because I work for a networking company, and if connecting to the Internet is a pain, I'd like to know what would make it easier -- an "always-on" connection like DSL or cable modem, for example? No more dialing up using a modem over a phone line, waiting forever to connect, enter passwords, connect, etc. etc. etc....

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
