: : I've been looking for used rims for my E46. I was wondering if anyone knew if the rims for the E36 (or any other models) are compatable (bolt pattern, off set, etc.). I looked in the archives, but didn't uncover this info.

I have 3 sets of OEM wheels for my E46.
One of them is an E36 ///M3 wheel 'M double spoke II style # 39M.

They fit perfectly, even with large 235-40 series 17's. Even with such a wide offset, the E46 wheel openings handle it with room to spare, and they fill nicely too.

Can't vouch for standard rims, but the M class wheels are A OK on an E46. Take care ~~
