Topaz is a great color, and goes well with the sand interior. Personally, the Orient Blue is my favorite, but that's my opinion, not yours. My 323i will be alpine white with a sand interior. Our '92 ES300 is a dark metallic green/black car. It picks up scratches and dirt like anything, and I've gotten first degree burns from the interior (let your car sit in 110 degree heat for 3 hours and forget to put cardboard in front of all the windows and that's what you get), so I decided to go all light for this car. I would've gotten the silver, but it seems every other 3 series in SoCal is silver, and I wanted to be a bit different. Plus, I saved $500 or so. I've gotten (jealous and snide) comments from my friends when I told them about the combo about it being a 'girls' car, but they also say that about the 3-series in general. As far as I'm concerned, masculinity and feminity are socially constructed phenomena and are artificial... oh sorry, damn communication theory... well, anyway, stop obsessing. Your car will look great as long as you take car of it. And you'll be happy if your car looks great.
