About once per month the SCCA puts on a Street School at Thunderhill. These events are not sponsored by any other clubs...like the BMW, Shelby, Porsche, Audi Quattro, Miata clubs. It is like the BMW event, only there will be all kinds of cars at the event. Usually a number of M3s are always present. Cost is $175/day..you get 5 runs of 20-25 minutes each, and lunch is included. If you are new to driving schools and such, you can use one of their instructors to help you refine your line and to get the most out of your day. The SCCA street schools tend to use cones (chicane) to slow you down before turn #1. Other events sometimes do not have chicanes set up. On November 13th they are having their regular street school on the 1.9 mile track. On November 14th they are having their "Advanced" class running the full 3.0 mile track.
Come on up. You can register on the web by visiting their website at the link provided below.
Hope to see you there. BTW, I do not have an E36 or E46.
