At 2AM on Saturday night (when the bars closed), two drunk coworkers and I (I, being under 21, was the designated driver) decided to drive to NYC from Boston. We got there about 6AM, did some sight-seeing, and drove back about 2PM.
...then we went to see the new Bond flick.

The Bond flick was okay.... He doesn't seem to use as much of Q's gadgets as he did in the older ones.
Two things I noticed on the Z8: The exhaust note can be heard in the movie. It kicks ass.
The Z8 has the annoying clown-nose alarm LED!
I got to drive the rented V6 Explorer all the way to NYC and back. Ugh. I can see why soccer moms would like these vehicles... but they're definitely not for me. :)
It could definitely use some tranny software reprogramming. You press the gas down a little to make it up a hill, and it doesn't downshift, You press the gas down a LOT, and it downshifts two gears racing over 5000 RPM. I had to press the "overdrive off" button whenever I'd go up a small hill.
The thing has a live rear axle.. whenever I'd go over a bump on the road, I could feel the rear end jumping out on me.
Anyway.. back to work.
