It just wants you to know that it could be icy and to take it easy...there's no problem

: Just the other day, the onboard computer was displaying the outside temperature when I started my 2000 323ci. After a few seconds it the temperature display started flashing and beeping. After about 5 secs it stopped. This was repeated a few more times over 2 days. Anyone know what the reason for this is?

: Thanks.

: PS: The temperature was in the 30's, if that matters.
