It appears that my status as a charter member of the "150 Club" will end by week's end: my dealer just received a 328Ci with the Sport/Premium package, which will be used to supply the seats & wheels for my car. (I've already struggled with the idea of the swap, but I'm convinced now it's no big deal; and I didn't want the "new" car with the S/P package, because I don't want the moonroof: need every extra inch of headroom.)

Anyway, the dealer told me that he has a meeting scheduled with BMW NA reps on Wednesday where he intended to discuss my situation. He then asked what I might want him to present to them by way of compensation or redress for my inconvenience. His word to me was that if I were reasonable in my requests, he was sure BMW would be reasonable in kind.

So, what do you think? Any suggestions? A friend has said I should ask for throw ins, like a set of wheels for the winter (steel rims/all seasons) and maybe a Noah car cover. Unlike some of my fellow 150'ers, I will ultimately wind up with exactly the car I ordered, so any compensation must be limited to the delay, inconvenience, and frustration of these last few weeks.

Thanks for all comments.

Doug
