There are several people that has installed the alarm themselves. From what I've seen of the installtion instructions it doesn't seem that difficult if you are mechanically inclined. Probably will take a good whole saturday.

Afterwards call the dealer and ask them to program it for you. They might to it for free if you bought the car from them, who knows :)


: you can install the alarm by yourself. it should be fairly easy. never done it before though. I got mine done at the dealer. I say you have to do it at the dealer cuz you need a computer to program your car key so you can use it. and only dealers have the comp.
