You need to get a piece of scrap leather, and it is then inserted into seat. The patch should have rubber cement on it, and there should also be a thin coat on the back of the tear on the seat. I made a patch like this for a leather jacket years ago, and it still holds with regular use. Curious if you have have the montana leather i.e. the 328, as this stuff looks to be some form of bull hide, and should be really strong.
