: Sigh, well I would just like to apologize for everyone here for this post. I also doubt that he is taking corner at 40 because most of the streets in Berkeley are so decrpit that he would be hitting a pot hole and "bust a 180" right into a pedestrian.
: Ashamed that a UCB student would post something like this :(
: : Everytime I get the chance, I try to see how much faster I can take turns and corners. So far, I've busted about 70 mph on a banked freeway onramp, but I started to hear the tires squeal so I let off, especially seeing as it was an elevated onramp and there was water about 50 feet below me. On normal city streets, I've taken sharp turns at about 40, almost busted a 180 one time--that was scary. I'm thinking if I can switch my wheels and tires to something that is a 35-series or below sidewall, I'll be in business... So how fast have you guys gone before breaking loose? I would also be interested in any fishtail stories!
Not to mention there's campus and city cops all over the place. My daughter got a speeding ticket for doing 28 on a 25 limit and they DO enforce it.
