: The steering wheel on my 2000 323i is very tight and it is a lot tighter the the one on my old E36 an E30, did anybody have this problem and is this normal?

Tire pressure fine? Steering should not be tough 'cause it could be binding. However, BMWs have always had steering feel that feels more like a light manual than a power arrangement.Put a bit more air in the friont tires and see how it feels, might actually get too easy and then you will say it's "floating."
