: I had a real nasty problem w/ brake dust like all you folk when i got my 323i sedan a year ago.. it came with the ugliest rims on earth.. not even rims, basically these tire caps that would turn black from brake dust in 3-4 days.. but about 6 months ago i got the hamann MBII 18' rims and ever since then there is hardly a build-up of brake dust on my rims. Go figure, maybe the spoke design of the hamanns help the brakes 'breathe' more... i also waxed my rims before i put them on with 3m imperial glaze (what i use on my car) and what a difference, I hardly notice any brake dust at all anymore..
