The only way any aftermarket cd changer will work with any OEM radio is with some type of protocol adaptor. I'm not sure if anyone have put up the money to buy one. There are some info in the archives as I recall.

Persoally I went with the OEM changer, even though I already have an extra sony 10-disc around doing nothing. The install was more integrated and I know it will work. Additionally, new aftermarket changer $$ + protocol $$ = somewhat close within 50-100 of a BMW changer.
