The point of these items is to NOT drag micro-sand particles across the paint (with the pressure of your hand on it) but to float them away. Thats why the right tool (the Griots brush) works perfectly.


: : : It is never rid of salt/sand/coral and other microscopic abrasives. Its what we call scratch city. The best item for washing the car is a little pricey--the Griots Garage hand made Boars Hair Brush (yes with Mahogony handle) at $70 each. The second best thing is an Australian Wool Wash mit at about $13. Go to Care Care Specialties and read their "How-To Articles" to get an eduaction in car care.
