Pirelli(s) have a habit of doing that
The rubber hardens real quick and the droning on the road increases dramatically over the first 12 months
Pole Positions are good...but the Pilot Sports are suppose to be quieter
Another good choice (cheaper) is the Dunlop SP9000

: I put on a set of 4 of these tires and I am getting all kinds of noise now coming from them at 18000 miles. Anyone else experience the same? I am thinking of getting Potenza Pole Position S-02's and dumping the P7000's. I hate road noise and these tires are aweful in that aspect. Any similar experiences?
