: Anyone know of really good roads to cruise in this area? Please share!

:Connecticut has hundreds of small roads that wind through the farm country in the northern part of the State. A couple that come to mind are 47, 199 and 55 up in the Washington Depot area. Get a book from Rand McNalley called Northwest Connecticut Streetfinder, and choose roads around the State Parks, these tend to be the really pretty areas.

Route 7 North is a good starting point, but then head out into the small roads, for miles of perfect apexes, minimal traffic and no radar.

If you are serious about taking a run up into Northwest CT, drop me an e-mail, and I can show you some of the great ones.
