: As some of you may have read a while back, I had a little problem with a dead battery some several days ago. With the help of a friend here on this board, I'm pretty sure that in fact the culprit was the lamp staying lit for the glovebox. The dealer installed a new battery today and could not find anything else wrong with the electrical system. I guess we'll see. I'm not satisfied right now with their "fix" of the operating button (paranoid maybe) so I removed the lamp again. A question as well, I thought the monitoring system would disable any circuit that was on for too long? If this is true then how could this have happened? I would welcome any thoughts or comments. Thanks
