I must be REALLY bored to even respond to such flame bait, but...
As a BMW driving Latino (I won't even mention which model, but let's just say I make well into 6 figures so we'll leave it at that and let your insecurity take care of the rest), I'm embarassed to have you "on my side".
Let's discuss Affirmative Action briefly:
When I went to college (UCB), I was one of the few brown faces on our campus. And the looks I received when I sat down in some of my senior Engineering classes was that of "Oh, he's here on Affirmative Action"
Wrong. I got in by working my ass off night and day, taking summer courses during high school so I could get to Calculus II and take Advanced Placement, etc etc. My gpa and SAT scores were very high.
What I've learned is....if you want something, want to succeed, you have to EARN it. I feel there are social and racial injustices in our world, of course, but I'm proactive about making changes and don't wallow in Affirmative Action and whine about things. That's a loser's approach.
I know you're posting to get people's ire up, and you're doing a great job. But to consider utilizing Affirmative Action to get our gente into prestigious automobiles is pure drivel. Get a clue. You've got a few days off to think up something more intelligent. Make use of that time wisely.
If you're really Hispanic/Latino, and you have half a brain, please work to improve your flamebait so that at least I'm not embarrased to be part of the same race.
