You made some very good points there.
After all consider this, you've just spent
about $40000 on a brand new car.
The floor mats, a necessary accessory which
probably cost the dealer half the price you'll
have to pay for the when buying them, should be
included for free as a nice gesture !

I didn't pay anything for my floor mats when
I bought my 323Ci.
Then again, I traded my old E34 for the 323Ci.
Perhaps the price I got on my new car was high
enough to allow the dealer to through in the
floor mats in for free ?

I'm not sure how things are in the US.
But here in Sweden you get free service for
3 years or up to 80000km on your new E46.
But then again as a friend of mine pointed out, considering the price of the E46, you've already
paid for that - Haven't you :-D ???
