: : Hello all,

: : Again, you guys have been a great help, and seeing how active this board is compared to some others is enough to make me want to get a new BMW....

: : I have a 93 300ZX now (222 BHP) and I'm ready to go shopping......Since most sport coupes under 40K are gone (except the C5 corvette, and the BMW) I've been looking at a 328IC. I guess I'm just wondering how a stock 328 feels......does it feel aggressive/powerful...I've set up a test drive, but I'm just looking for input....I don't want to feel like I've 'stepped down' from the ZX. Also, how much do the add ons like the cold air / chip / etc add. Thanks again for all your guys are a great resource.

: I had a 300zx back in the early 90's and I guarantee you will find the the 328ci to be a quicker car. The 328 is substantially lighter and will get you to 60 in 6.6 secs. It's the most fun drive I've had and that includes an "88 M6.

I recently sold my 1990 ZX and bought a 328i and I have to agree with the other posters. Overall performance is superior in all respects. You won't be disappointed.
