: You go to Munich to get the car... and how does the car get shipped to the USA?? I wish I would have known about this--Oh well!!
: : Just my .02 but if you're gonna end up waiting and concerned about the cost, go w/ Euro Delivery, you save 2K from base cost already, and you can negotiate a fairly decent deal depending on where you're at. Last time I checked a round trip ticket to Munich was like 500 bucks. If you really want to save money, you can just get it EuroDelivery & buy a round trip ticket and go out there to pick it up. Basically do a day trip in Munich, drive it around the block and drop it off or something. In then end you'll be up 1500 bucks or more for the same car. The wait would be roughly the same amount of time also. The EuroDelivery might be just a bit longer but you save a lot more money that way... I got a sweet deal w/ my order, I have to wait for a Jan production car, but in the end, I calculated that I saved nearly 3.5K as opposed to buying a car on the lot. I was looking for specific options as well, so I didn't have to pay for options I didn't want. But then again, I work for an Airline so its relatively easy for me to get to Munich. Just my .02 but think 'bout it, you'll save a bundle as long as you don't go spending happy in Munich.

: : 328Ci Silver/Black
: : Xenon, Wood, Heated Seats,
: : GPS, Sport Pkg.
: : Due on 2/4/00 @ 11:35AM Munich Time :)
: : : i want a 323ci with sport, HK, xenon, gps, and moonroof. the problem is that all the dealers i've talked to do not carry a 323ci with the options i'm looking for.
: : : should i compromise and get my ci now or place an order and go through the 2 month wait? does ordering hurt my chances at getting a sweeter deal?
: : : hope everyone is recovering well from thanksgiving....
