Hey guys, my car is at my local dealership (Classic BMW
in Dallas) for a few repairs, and today I test drove
the car to see how it feels; I didn't get to take the
car home, however, because the insurance company needs
another look at the car before they will release it,
and nobody's working over Thanksgiving =(.

But more importantly, while I was on a freeway at about
55-65 mph, I noticed the infamous brake vibration in my
steering wheel! Oh no, not my baby, not another problem,
is all that's going through my mind...luckily, it isn't
a severe problem, but quite annoying.

I told the service manager about this, and he said he'd
take it to the service department and have it checked out,
claiming he "hadn't ever heard of this problem before."
Yeah, right. Well, to expedite the repair, assuming they
do decide to do something about it, I thought I'd glean
some information from this board; I searched the archives
and have a little information already, but I remember
reading about the kit BMW has released to fix this
problem, and it didn't show up in my search.

Have any of you had this problem, and gotten it fixed?
I'd be interested in any information you guys have,
so that I can go force them to fix it and fix it
properly without having to wade through all their
usual BS.

Thanks for your help guys, I don't know what I'd do
without this board.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Phil - soon to be reunited with long lost love,
