Same thing happened to my old 733i. Coke spilled in center console power window buttons. None of the buttons stopped working. When buttons got sticky I purposefully spilled small drops of water in each one, with car off and no power to buttons, and let it sit for few hours before using car. I'm not suggesting you do this, but it worked for me. I admit it does sound like a rediculous idea but there really wasn't anything else to do other than replace the buttons. :)
:
: I was sitting at a stop light today just about to sip my Coke when the person behind me rolled into me. She was stopped when her foot slipped off the brake and tapped by rear bumper. It does not look like any major damage, just some scratches that should buff out.

: The problem is that the Coke I was drinking ending up fizzing up and getting everywhere in the interior. I cleaned up as much as I can and tried to get it out of the buttons. This includes the steering wheel and the window buttons.

: Is this going to be a future problem with the buttons, given that coke will get sticky? Are the buttons sealed??

: Please help !!! AAAAARRRRRRGGGGG!!! Totally frazzled :(
