: Can anyone help in pinpointing the correct jacking points when using a garage jack. with about 5 1/4 inch clearance. Can you only use those jacking points that BMW has put those square rubber plugs.
: Any other points for jacking when you want to put the car on jack stands?

: Whats the easiest way?

: Any recommended jacks?

: By the way the emergency jack included doesn't look as good as my E36 93' jack. Too much plastic here.

: Thanks for the help.

: PS legal disclaimer...I won't sue you. track you down ...blah...blah...blah.... there that covers the legal crap....

: Thanks... from anotherCCA member looking for sound advice..

I use the 4 rubber pads and a small (4000 lb cap.) floor jack with a plastic cover to protect the rubber pads. The clearance is tight...the jack barely fits under the pads (sports suspension!). I can't really see any other place to put jack stands.
