I've had a couple of tickets in a previous car, and haven't had my insurance go up. Unless you give them reason to, they usually don't check your driving record, so you're okay as long as you don't make any insurance claims.
Also, I believe the ticket stays on your record for 3 years, but you can attend traffic school every 18 months.
: As mentioned in my post below, I got a ticket for
: going 82 in a 65. I have no reason to fight it (just
: plain guilty), so I'll pay for the ticket and go to
: traffic school. It takes 18 months for it to completely clear off your driving record. My question
: is this: Has anyone gotten another ticket within that
: 18-month period, and how much did your insurance go up?
: Anyone then get ANOTHER ticket after the second one?
: I'm more careful now, but I'd just like to know of any
: experiences out there in case I get caught again.
