Euro delivery and break-in period dilemma... (archive)

I'm seriously considering Euro delivery for my upcoming 323i, as I've always fantasized about barreling down an autobahn at break-neck speed. The problem is I'm now concerned about BMW's recommended break-in period (i.e., don't exceed 4500RPM or 100MPH for the first 1200 miles).

How could I not break both of these recommendations, and if I do, and I doing any serious long-term harm to my baby? Perhaps I should still do the Euro delivery thing and just ante up some bucks to rent a bimmer for one day so that I can satisfy my cravings? Any/all thoughts/insights are appreciated.
