Congrats! Your system is very impressive,
it sounds like you really put in a lot of work
(EQ rack, etc) and I hope you've been rewarded
well...those Dynaudio's must kick ass.

A question though: how much longer do you think
you'll be able to live with the stock head unit?
With a separate EQ for left/right channels,
Image Dynamics 15's, it's obvious you're going
for sound quality, and I'm sure now the headunit
is an obvious weak link...are you waiting, like me,
for a suitable trim piece to fit in a standard DIN
sized unit? Also, did you go into the unit to
find the source of the signal or use spkr
level output (ouch)? And one last one...did you
Dynamat anything? I'm sure it would make a noticeable
(expensive) difference in the accuracy of your subs,
of course.

Kudos for having the balls to cut up the firewall
in your brand new bimmer, too...I would never
have been able to do that =)

btw did you remove the stock speakrs, or just cut
the wires? i've heard leaving them in leaves the
door panels less prone to rattles.

How much did that time-delay cost? Sounds like
a nifty piece of kit, I don't think I'm going
to go as far as you, though, for my car audio
(inherently poor acoustic environment, what can
I say?) and leave the big guns for my listening
room at home =)

one hearty thank-you!
