Your car is very similar to the one we picked up on the 10th. The difference is that we got the Premium Package instead of the SP. Let's see, it's 2000 323i, White/Sand letherette, Premium, Steptronic, Xenon, heated seats, split fold down, and fog lights. I installed the alarm, trunk-mount CD and homelink myself.

We just got back from a TN to TX to TN drive and the car was great. I had a little bit of the "floatiness" that some have complained about at first at highway speeds but it's rock solid now. I think it lasted about 1000 miles. Maybe it's related to tire break in?

I'm surprised that a college student would go for the sedan. I'd have preferred the coupe back then. Now, the sedan is perfect. Maybe you're just proof that I'm really not getting old! :)

It's nice that you can get such a nice car while still in school. I felt lucky to have had parents who had saved enough to pay for my school. My car was left up to me. :) I drove an '81 Z28 that I had bought in '82 for $8500. Still have that car, too. Just had it repainted and put on new wheels. It looks better than new. (Of course now I've trying to figure out a way to swap it for an early 90's 3-series!)

Oh, well... I seem to be rambeling on incoherently. Must be a sign of old age.

Enjoy the new car!
