Re: Who / how much to buy from in MA ??? (archive)

I shopped 6 dealers in the MA area, and Herb Chambers in Boston gave me the best price. They also have the best service dept out of 4 dealers I've had my car serviced at.

I would stay away from Wagner BMW in west springfield and boyleston.

Their service dept scratched up my car while in their possession and would not take responsibility for it. (they claim that I scratched it and want them to pay for repair).

Herb chambers also scratched one of my doors when they took the driver seat out (to fix dead seat heater), but they told me about it right away and fixed it up at their expense. (they had to keep the car an extra week to repaint it, but they gave me a brand new 2000 328i loaner).

I would highly recommend Herb Chambers.
The sales lady I bought my car from is Eva Godlewski, but I don't think she's in sales anymore, I think she's now in the service dept.
